CA Bhuvnesh Maheshwari qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 1989 and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He also holds the Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) awarded by ICAI and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce.

He is the Senior Partner at K G Somani & Co LLP, Chartered Accountants, and possesses over 36 years of extensive professional experience in auditing, accounting, finance, banking, taxation, risk assessment, financial analysis, critical scrutiny of financial records, and strengthening internal control systems.

He has rich experience in conducting Statutory Audits and Internal Audits of large public and private sector undertakings, banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, mutual funds, societies, and other organizations. His professional expertise also includes Information Systems Audits, forensic investigations, audits in an EDP environment, Special Audits under Section 142(2A) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, Special Audits under Section 72A of the Finance Act, 1994, and Special Audits of Exploration & Production (E&P) Blocks of Oil & Gas companies assigned by the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons.

Mr. Maheshwari is a Registered Insolvency Professional with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and serves as a Director of K G Somani Insolvency Professionals Pvt Ltd. He has significant experience in insolvency and bankruptcy matters, including representing stakeholders before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). He has successfully managed Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes (CIRP) as an Interim Resolution Professional/Resolution Professional and secured approval of Resolution Plans by the Hon'ble NCLT.

He is empanelled as a Technical Reviewer with the Quality Review Board (QRB) and as a Peer Reviewer with the Peer Review Board of ICAI. In these capacities, he has successfully conducted quality reviews and peer reviews of several large audit firms and practice units. He has also been appointed as a Shield Panelist by the Research Committee of ICAI for the selection of entities under various categories for the prestigious "ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting."
