Assistant Manager - Statutory Audit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning: Develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies, including risk assessment and materiality considerations.
  • Execution: Conduct statutory audits in accordance with relevant auditing standards and regulations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their business operations, address audit queries, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior auditors, review their work, and provide guidance to ensure high-quality audit outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards, including local and international guidelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance audit processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid certification from a recognized accounting body.
  • Experience: 0-4 years of experience in statutory auditing, preferably with exposure to a variety of industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ethics: High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
